Hitting the Sweet Spot with Your Marketing
You all know that hitting the golf ball a 1/2 inch out of the sweet spot, even on your Super Sized light weight, high performance new driver can make a huge difference to your distance and accuracy. The same is true of your marketing message in both a positive and a negative direction. Yet few clubs take the time to develop a meaningful USP (Unique Selling Proposition), or to segment their marketing into different target markets with different messages that hit their customers’ sweet spots.
Let me give you an example. Most website these days have at least a couple of ways to collect data. Usually an e-zine sign up and a contest, so that covers two markets, people who respond to contests and people who respond to newsletters. But people who don’t respond to a chance to win a free driver might respond for a chance to win a Free Membership. People who don’t respond to a free newsletter may respond to a Free book download 13 Ways to Never Three Putt Again. People who don’t respond to an e-zine sign up may respond to a specific coupon and be glad to part with their data in order to get the coupon. There are at least 12 ways I can think of to collect data from a web site, yet few clubs utilize more than one or two - missing the sweet spot with the rest of their market.
Target Marketing Wins
Once data has been gathered, most clubs make the mistake of simply blasting or mailing everyone on their list the same offer! They offer senior men the same thing as business women. They offer occasional players the same promo as avid players. They give their best customers the same exact offer as a player from Cleveland who once played their course when he was 1000 miles from home and needed somewhere to tee it up. In making undifferentiated offers, clubs miss the sweet spot with their marketing, rendering it far less profitable than it could be!
To get the most from your marketing, you MUST segment your market into different discernable groups and design offers, messages and graphics that speak to that exact market! It might be Korean players, Firemen, leagues, a skins game that meets every Friday, or just specific groups run by individuals by handicap, age or ethnicity. Design offers, referral programs and loyalty programs that speak to each market, NOT a one-message-fits-all program and you will have far superior results with your marketing.
Web sites are just the foundation of our direct response approach. With Legendary Marketing, every part of your marketing - from newspapers ads to direct mail campaigns - is trackable and predictable.

How to hit the ball in the sweet spot?
Lately I been in a slump im 6"0 210 with power ......im really not using it.....having trouble with hitting the ball in the sweet spot and also im seeing the ball late please need some tips
I've been playing baseball for 9 years. I stopped, I don't know why, but I still love the game. I'm short 5'9" but I have a big power swing. I'm more of a pitcher thou lol. But when I hit, I'm a clutch hitter. What you wanna do is when your up to the plate, keep your weight balanced. Keep it balanced as you start to swing. When you step, make sure your front foot is pointing across from your body. If not then your gonna spin instead of creating torque. Torque makes power. Also having quick wrists. I've been having trouble on my swing too. I'm putting too much weight on my back foot causing me to swing under the ball. So when your up, make sure your hands or elbow aren't too high. If they are then your gonna beat the ball into the ground. Keep them at a certain degree angle making you have quick power into the zone. Always keep your eye on the ball as you swing through. As you swing bring the elbow up as the ball gets to the plate. Make sure your swing is leveled. Keep practicing doing this and your swing will have more contact.
