Choosing A Flex Rating For Your Golf Clubs

How do i clean up golf club shafts?
My golf clubs have been sat in the garage for a year without being used (took a year off playing) with the result that the steel shafts have become slightly pitted. Anybody have any experience as how to remove the tiny rust spots.
a fine steel wool works wonders for minor rust. better than any rust remover
