North Carolina Speeders in for a Shock when a Corvette Z06 Pulls them Over
Imagine cruising down the interstate doing a good clip with not a care in the world. As you fly past a really nice looking Vette you suddenly realize that this is no ordinary Corvette; it is in fact a police car. Suddenly you stomach sickens as you realize that the Corvette has pulled in behind you, turned on its dash lights, and is in fact pulling you over. As you look at the speedometer you wince as you know you are facing a stiff penalty for going too fast.
That is exactly what some speeders are experiencing in the state of North Carolina when traveling down Interstate 40 and not paying attention to the speed limit. This nightmare scenario is brought to you by the Wake County Sheriff's Department as they now have a new cruiser that will be extremely tough to outrun; a Corvette Z06.
The Corvette Z06 was seized in a drug bust and when this happens the seizure becomes property of the state. Now the Sheriff's Department in Wake County has a weapon in their arsenal that is capable of doing almost 200 miles per hour top speed thanks to an LS7 engine that spits out 505 horsepower.
The Corvette Z06 that the department is using is apparently unmarked so if you think that you may at least see some dome lights on the roof to tip you off that it is a cop, you are out of luck. This is definitely one police car that you do not want to try and out run.
The use of the Corvette Z06 is drawing a mixed reaction of both praise and criticism alike. Some feel that the Corvette Z06 is an unnecessary vehicle for an officer of the law to have (these people have probably been pulled over by the Vette). Others feel that it is a wonderful tool to have in order to help keep the highway safer and because it didn't cost the county or the state any money it is all the better.
While this may be the first high performance vehicle used in Wake County North Carolina it is hardly the first time that law enforcement has used high performance vehicles that were seized in drug busts or otherwise. Many high performance vehicles have been used from police and sheriff agencies both here in the United States and overseas as well. All sorts of high performance vehicles have even used as police cruisers including name plates such as BMW, Lamborghini, Lexis, Porsche, and more. In fact it is not even the first time that the feat has been done with a Chevy Corvette.
While some remain unmarked and some are marked the best policy to follow is to simply not speed. However, since that is likely not to happen at least avoid speeding in Wake County on Interstate 40 otherwise you risk seeing a really cool Corvette Z06 with lights blazing on the dash pulling you over to issue you a nice fat ticket for speeding. While the vehicle may be overkill for its job, that won't keep you from getting a ticket.

I am a 5 Handicap and the thing I would most like to improve in 2007 is my short game , thats where I blow it sometimes , If I can do that I think I could be a scratch golfer ,
How about you ! Best Answer 10 points !!!!!

9 Iron: 115-125 yds.
PW: 105-110 yds.

56* Sand Wedge: 85-95 yds.
61* Lob Wedge: 75- 80 yds.
Putter: However far away the hole is when I'm on the green or fringe
Handicap: 12-13. I'm currently struggling because I went on a vacation to India for some weddings and I came back and now I'm screwed up from that.
Goals For 2007: My biggest problem is consistency. If I hit most of my shots the way I know I can on the range, I'll be near scratch.
My short game is good, except fot putting, I want to devote more of my practice time to that.
Right now, I have golf tryouts for my high school team in like 4 days. I need to keep my frustration in check and play naturally.
This took forever to write, so please choose me for best answer.
