Description
Simply stated, the new Wilson Staff Di7 irons are not like other clubs. A lower profile moves the center of gravity down for higher ball flight. A wider sole moves the CG back for greater stability and straighter ball flight. A wider tip shaft prevents twisting on off-center hits. If you want to hit it longer and straighter, play Wilson Staff Di7 irons. We're talking "club longer", not 1-2 yards.

Now, that's called value

Bought this set half the price of my Pings. Have never seen my balls flied any longer, straighter, and higher. Excellent clubs for the value! Good job, Wilson.
meets advertising promises

If you watch the pitch on wilson.com, the big pitch on these clubs is that they are supposed to be very forgiving on shots hit from the toe of the club. They are. I can't say I hit the ball any farther than I did with other irons but I certainly hit it farther more often, and at least vaguely in the direction I was aiming (ie. when i screw it up I'm in the rough instead of in the trees)
look and feel is excellent.
The reason I gave 4/5 is that the the way the sole is built the leading edge of the club face appears to sit up off the ground at address for the P and G wedges. One of my nasty habits when i'm chipping from 20-30 yards is to come up and blade the ball rocketing over the green. Looking down and seeing that leading edge just sitting up a bit makes me nervous, and while the club design doesn't actually make this outcome more likely (actually i've been improving on this though i think that's down to practice more than to a club), it makes me worry about it. This may be just a quirk for me and since i've been playing with them I don't notice as much already.
Overall excellent clubs that perform as advertised and I'm confident have shaved at least a couple of strokes.
FYI I'm 28, play about once a month and shoot in the mid to low 90's
