Customer Reviews

Not quite as advertised, but pretty good.

3.0 / 5.0

I bought this to use with my Skycaddie SG2 in my golf cart. The product description says that it uses the belt clip button on the back of the unit to attach to the cup holder mount. It does not. In fact, the button keeps you from laying the Skycaddie flat against the unit.
It looks like it will still work however, as you set the Skycaddie on the small legs on the bottom of the holder, then squeeze the two foam covered side pads tightly against the Skycaddie. The adjustable mount base works well in golf cart cup holders, and the unit can be tilted and locked into your desired angle, which is nice. Shame about the misleading statement about using the belt clip button to lock it in place.

Update: used it on the golf course yesterday, and it really works well. The side pads hold it securely, the tilt feature displays it to cart driver and passenger, and the mount can be adjusted to fit tightly in your cup holder. Maybe deserves four stars?

Update again: Since I no longer use the belt clip at all, I took a closer look at the belt clip button on the back of the unit, and discovered you can actually unscrew it!! Duh... Anyhow, it now fits flat and secure in the holder!!
