Speed Stick Golf Swing Trainer (Red)

A good item for building golf muscles while practicing your golf swing. The built-in speed indicator is helpful in measuring your swing speed progress, while you are attempting to increase your swing speed.
Terrific

I have had one of these for a few years and really like it. I tend to hold off releasing the club, which leads to blocked shots. The weight of the Speed Stik helps me feel the proper sensation of releasing the club. It also builds strength for longer shots.
Try Using The Product First

You would think a person would try using a product before they sent in a review. The other review was so helpful. Let me try: If it's good enough for Vijay, whom I have actually seen using this on the driving range, then it's good enough for me. Since it's weighted, it does give a sense of where the hands should be throughout the swing, and you can feel which muscles are being used. The speed measurement was pretty close. A good tool for working on quickening the downswing and follow-through. Also a great way to stretch the swing out after a long winter, and add length and arc to the back-swing.
$100 for a stick?!?

This is just a stick...why would you want this? A broken club would probably work better.
No matter who uses this stick, it's a waste of $100. A golf pro may get it for free, but you still have to pay and in the end it's easy to make a graphite rod using your home shop. If you think that just because a pro uses one, so should you, you're falling for the advertising tricks that are being played on you by the stick manufacturers.
To charge so much for something that is so simple to make yourself is just silly. It's a stick, remember. The kind of thing that grows on a tree. Yeah, it's a really nice stick. But it's a stick.
