Description

Add swingweight temporarily or indefinitely without altering the center of gravity. Clear acrylic adhesive sticks well and even becomes stronger with time, but will come off. High Density tape increases swingweight faster using less tape.

Customer Reviews

Roll tape works better

5.0 / 5.0

I prefer this tape on a roll to the pre-cut, thicker strips. The roll allows you to more easily choose your size and the being thinner makes it easier to work with. I recommend for anyone trying to dial-in the swing weight of a club.
I use it specifically on my putter, applying more on slow greens, allowing me to make the same stroke for length of putt on fast or slow greens.

for softball bats too

5.0 / 5.0

I purchased a 2nd hand softball bat that was 1 ounce too light. After reading how Tiger Woods added some lead tape to his putter, I thought I would give it a try on my bat. I added 20+ inches just above the bat grip and covered it with electrical tape. Worked like a charm.

weight tip for other buyers

3.0 / 5.0

I believe that there is no information on how heavy the tape is (not on this webpage or in the packaging/instructions that came with the product). I calculate that the weight is 0.05 ounces or 1.5 grams per 3 inches of length, based on some similar, Babolat-company weighted tape. Please comment if you think i might have done the ounce-to-gram calculations wrong. Thanks.

THIS ITEM WAS ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK IN THE SHAUMBURG, IL STORE, FORCING ME TO PAY S&H IN EXCESS OF BUYING IT IN PERSON.

ITEM BEING SOLD IS NOT WHAT IS SENT

1.0 / 5.0

Emailed this seller to ask explanation of 1/2 x 100 description. They sent email and said it was 100 inches in length. When I ordered and received the items (9 rolls), each roll was 75 inches in length, so they are cheating you out of 25 percent of what you order.
