What is considered vintage, classic and antique?
Is vintage 50+ years, classic, 100 + yrs (except for cars which only have to be 20+ yrs) and antique more than 100 yrs?
It depends on what the item is. Antiques are 75 years and older. Classic can be almost any age and it has the lofty status assigned to it because it is unique in some way. Vintage is something people used to use but not as valuable as an antique but just as old. Some people talk about 1960s clothing as vintage. I dont think cars are classics if they are only 20 years old. That would be a 1990 model. If it is a great car that is not made any more I suppose it would be a classic.
